Nostalgia

Aunt & uncle are back from Melbourne, where they stayed for about a week to help their daughter (my cousin) settle in. Cousin's there on an exchange programme.

While they were there, aunt & uncle paid a visit to a family friend & her hubby in Geelong. The family friend's my mum's old classmate, to be exact.

Hearing from aunt about her meeting with this family friend and her hubby has put me into a nostalgic mood! ;_;

I miss them so much! TT_TT

If anyone were to ask me who I would name as the kindest, most generous (not necessarily money-wise, but at heart), and overall nice people I have ever met so far, I'd name them without hesitation! I seriously have not met anyone as sweet as them. You might think, no way, there's bound to be a catch! But really, no... they are just so ... *sigh*... I really do miss them.

Funny, isn't it? I was studying in Sydney, but they're in Geelong, so how come I got to know them so well? People say: out of sight, out of mind, isn't that usually the case? Well, my point exactly :)

~& I have to thank my aunt for helping me remember once again what it is about the Oz outlook on life that I like. That is so severely missing in Singapore. Gosh, it's so easy to be 'absorbed/sucked' back into the 'system', isn't it!
