Encounters of the Bodyguard Kind

As part of my work commitments, I had to play servant to a VVIP today. Yeah......duh. Anyway, there's a bright spark to everything, i.e. it generally helps to laugh at the most ridiculous things to help time pass more easily. So the 2 funny things that happened today involved this event with the VVIP. See, he's a VVIP, but not a VVVIP, so it surprised us to find out that he has not 1 but 3 bodyguards. Interesting thing is, 2 out of the 3 are female! Not that I have anything against female bodyguards....In fact, I was quite impressed at how petite they looked...who says you can't be tough yet feminine at the same time? :) I can just imagine them springing up out of nowhere and packing a mean punch at the poor unsuspecting fellow that accidentally brushes against the VVIP's arm...*chuckle*

Incident #1: Male bodyguard with the sunshine look but shifty eyes turns round with a startle every time I use my handphone. His startles startle me. What am I supposed to do, keep absolutely still? Am I not allowed to move?? Anyway I had to alert various people of the VVIP's arrival! Then, when the event ended, male bodyguard misunderstands that I am supposed to follow said VVIP back to boreville. So at the car, he gave me this quizzical+anxious shake of the head signal that translated as "quick, get in the car!". It was a very exaggerated move, like what you see in the movies. Boy, this guy must be new at the job!! Instead of jumping into the car, I did the same quizzical+anxious shake of the head signal back at him that was supposed to translate into "no, you get into the car!" XD XD XD The car vroomed off but I could see he still had this confused look on his face. He must have been thinking, this girl is a weirdo!!

Hmm... come to think of it, I have no idea where the 2 female bodyguards disappeared to...

Incident #2: One of the guests at the event was wearing blue but see-through pants (those pants must have been washed quite a number of times). We could see his white briefs. The traditional kind. XD XD XD
