Advice!
Need yr advice!!
Is it better to go work for a firm that's not that great but where the bosses there think highly of you, or is it better to go work for a firm that's got better systems in place, but where the bosses there might not think as highly of you?
Day 2 of the Taiwan trip report is coming along v slowly... too many details I want to recall but can't! Maybe something like 2046days later...i'll try to get it up by then!!

Really comforting to read a friend's article on how she has chosen to drop everything here, including paying back her bond, to pursue further studies back in the UK. I especially like how she wrote about cultural misappropriation. Immediately made me think of how the "12-China-girls ensemble" that is so popular now is doing nothing but destroying the sound of Chinese instruments. Shzr Ee, we need more people like you. To pluck up that sort of courage to turn away but at the same time, not turn your back on Singapore.
Announcement (another quick change of topic!!): I've watched New Police Story, and.. it's not bad I suppose, much better than Jackie Chan's previous Hollywood flicks. At least this time there's flowing dialogue! [spoiler] Waited the whole length of the movie to see Wubai come out for a full...was it even 5 min?.. yeah.. before he was knocked down by the truck/bus. -_-; [/spoiler] Oh well.. *winces*

dunno leh, one of the big4 is keen to take me, but it is known to slave-drive pple. am more keen to go to another of the big4, but the pple there are just lukewarm to me. geez.. just like how it's difficult for 2 pple to mutually like each other?!??!!

oh...cos they approached me...but for the other firm, i seem to be the one more keen on entering into a 'relationship' than them. Classic love triangle!!!
i hope it's just that it's a ramping-up period for you? hang in there~ actually i think i'm also made to be slacking ;) we should catch up lah. i'm at yr building most days, but yr lunchtime seems to clash w my lesson times T_T
