Headache...again.
I keep getting it so often it's starting to sound lame.
But it hurts and i wish it will go away.
Painkillers don't work anymore so I've turned to TCM. Went back to the sensei this evening after class and now I'm staring at this huge bottle of powdered herbs in front of me..."5 flattened teaspoons, stir them into warm water like milo, and drink. 2 times a day for the next 2 wks."
I'm sure I can come up with some 4D number from that previous sentence..
It's a misconceived notion that there are not enough babies on this island. Today at Orchard Road I saw at least 743 pregnant women and another 395 prams blocking my path. 'Bumped' into a secondary school friend carrying her 2 yr old daughter, looking slightly dazed. 'Bumped' in inverted commas, cos I was intending to say hi, but she really had this glazed look on her face that she missed me completely even though I was almost directly in front of her. Don't think I have changed that much in 2 yrs, have i?? Anyway, just as well, cos I wouldn't really know what to do if we said 'hello' besides yeah, saying 'hello' and coo-ing at her daughter.
Of course even the most vomit-inducing pregnant woman (hm, that sounds ironic, doesn't it) can't beat the female-pastor-singer (don't want to write her name in my blog for fear of contaminating my blog) who was showing off her big tummy during the ZPop concert on Sat night. The 6 hr long ZPop concert on Sat night (how I long for the perfectly timed Japanese concerts..). Yeah, she was sauntering on stage wearing something short and tight. >_<; We didn't realize we were in the middle of her 'supporters' until they all started shouting her name when the compere (who, by the way, is rather cute, though all illusions were shattered once he opened his mouth. Example: "And now we shall welcome our President, Mr President, to present the plagues to the performers.") asked the audience who they would vote as some Idol or something *shrug*. Anyway, my companion and I freaked out, so we tried to edge ourselves out from that 'group'. We didn't progress far before her act came on, alas. That proved interesting, cos we had these Sun supporters (gulp, i said her name. Quick, dettol!) on our left, and some rather anti-Sun pple (more dettol!) on our right.
Interesting, indeed...
Anyway, YiDa looked utterly adorable but really, nothing's special abt his album's songs anymore when they're played, oops, no, just sung, on stage. FIR's plus point was how they managed to really hype up the crowd (and not just the Energy fans). & I'd say they do have quite a strong selection of songs they could extract from their albums. But again, live-wise, nah.
Two thoughts as I was waiting through boring acts (re: Ren Xian Qi.):
1) I can't do this for v much longer. Getting old.
2) I love MUCC!!!
