Alright, alright... i confess!!!... (points to pic above) in spite of some cheesy parts, I actually enjoyed the series!  It's a story of how three buddies start off as small-time school hooligans before graduating into secret society members, and how they struggle & rise up the ranks.  Also features as the central plot the love story between one of them & this girl who's from an entirely different background (the opposites-attract thingy).  The second guy likes the same girl but keeps his feelings to himself, while the third guy has this quirky relationship going on with this other female gangster.  I like the third couple, especially the female gangster.  Was rather upset when she died near the end (sorry for the spoiler!)  I like that comradeship thing going on amongst the three main leads, and.. alright, alright!!.. the central love story was rather interesting at times too..  One character (the girl in the pic on the most extreme right) irritated me to death though.  Everytime she spoke I felt like doing a "reverse-zhen zi", i.e. reach into the TV to shake her. 

Haha..there's also this 'not meant to be funny but turned out funny' thing going on with two side characters who were having an affair.  See, the girl looks like an EXACT replica of the guy, except with longer hair & lipstick.  So everytime they show them making out, it looks like the guy's making out with himself or with his twin or something.  Really hilarious.  Was laughing so hard during one of those scenes that I totally missed the whole plot during that section.  Doesn't anyone else see the resemblance???

Overall....still highly recommended!  hee hee.
